PDF2XL allows you to convert to formats other than Excel, such as Word, PowerPoint, OpenOffice, CSV, HTML, and even copy to the clipboard.
It's important to be aware, however, that since PDF2XL was designed with the Excel format in mind, it follows the same rules, regardless of which conversion output you choose.

Merging the table rows or changing the table to a field as in the image below will have the same result - all the data will be compacted into a single cell without any regard for paragraph formatting.
This problem has prompted us to provide an alternate solution called PDF2Word, created specifically for converting PDF documents into the Word output.
As you can see, the result is substantially better with the PDF2Word program:
