When installing the software you may receive the following message:

This error generally occurs if you have an outdated version of the Windows Installer - it can cause issues with running .msi installs.

To resolve this, we will need you to send us the file 'pdf2xl.log' in your C:\ folder to [email protected]

You can run it from the command line:

  1. From your Start menu, access Run

  2. Type in 'cmd' and press OK

  3. Enter into the command prompt (edit the bold data based on the edition you have installed): msiexec /i C:\Program Files (x86)\CogniView\PDF2XL [OCR/Enterprise/CLI]\PDF2XL-Enterprise-Setup-Full.msi /lv* C:\pdf2xl.log
