When you select a column format to Number or Currency, PDF2XL will send the character formats to the Excel program so they are set up for Excel to recognize them.
Important:
This does not carry the recognized format over into Excel - it only sets up the character formatting.
Depending on your Excel settings, you may need to set your Excel cell formats manually.
However, in some cases, you might notice that the converted data is being changed to a Text format in Excel.
If this occurs, check the length of your numbers in the document. Excel has a limit of 15 characters for number formats, so if it's longer than that, it will change it to text.
