PDF2XL versions 7 and higher use a Username and Password login process, as opposed to the previous method which required inputting a code. This is a much simpler process, however like the old method, it does have some limitations.
Your login attempt may return an error stating "License error: -4303 (SOAP Host can't be resolved)":

This error occurs when the activation cannot reach our server. This may be because you are behind a firewall, your machine has no internet connection or, in rare cases, our server may be down.

What can you do?

If you are behind a firewall
Make sure your firewall allows outgoing connections to the following URLS:

If you have no internet connection
You will need our custom offline installer and, possibly, an offline license file. Please contact our team at [email protected] for guidance.

Is our server down?
If your firewall is not blocking access and you are connected to the internet, it's possible the problem is on our end. Feel free to email [email protected] to inquire if our server is running properly.
