When we release a new version of PDF2XL, you will receive a notification of this update when you run your PDF2XL application. It will notify you to purchase the new update or (if you are a Premium Support subscriber) download it for free.
If you would like to disable that notification (for example, in a server environment), you can do so by doing the following.
Method 1:
The easiest option is to simply uncheck the box for Program Updates in the Options menu.
Method 2
You can use the following steps to set this from the Registry Editor before deploying the software.
Access run > regedit
Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER > SOFTWARE > Cogniview > PDF2XL [edition] > Options
Find CheckForUpdates
Right-click and select Modify
Change the Value data to '0'.
