A step-by-step guide to using PDF2Word 2.1 (and later) to convert a PDF to a Word document

  1. Click the PDF icon in the toolbar.

  2. Locate and select the PDF file you wish to convert, then click Open.

  3. Your document is now loaded into PDF2Word.

  4. Click the Word document icon.

  5. Choose a folder to save your converted file to. The PDF file name is used by default, but you can change this.

  6. You will receive a confirmation once the file is converted. You can choose to open it immediately, or simply close the prompt to view it later.

  7. When you open your file in Word, you will be able to apply your edits.
