You may encounter an issue with some documents, where the output has a space between characters when there shouldn't be, or the space between characters is missing.
This is something that can be corrected using the Heuristics option.
Go to Options > General > Heuristics.
Set the "Space-to-letter ratio" slider to Narrow if you want to create spaces or Wide if you want to remove them.
